Join me for an informative and fun day learning how to use live fire to roast veggies in a range of methods and bake pitas and pizzas.
First up we will make the pita dough and my pizza dough which uses an overnight yeasted pre-ferment to achieve the most flavourful, tender but chewy crust you have ever had!
Then we will head out to the greenhouse and garden to pick the fresh herbs and veggies we need to top a range of pizzas featuring my seasonal garden produce.
We will use live fire and even bake directly on the embers to roast our freshly picked veg, and we will make a pizza sauce using fire roasted tomatoes.
We will also make pistachio and chilli dukka to enjoy with the freshly baked pitas before stretching, dressing and baking pizzas for lunch.
You will receive a recipe for each of the doughs, including instructions for baking them in a normal home oven. Both vegetarians and vegans welcome!
